If you’re thinking of selling your property, or just want to extend your lease to protect the value of your asset, this is the first vital piece of information you need.
You need to look for the ‘term’ of your lease. This is usually found on the first few pages of the lease document itself (e.g. ’99 years from 24 June 1986.’). Using the ‘term’, you can calculate exactly how many years are left.
If you don’t have a copy of your lease, you can fill out the form below, and we will supply you with your ‘term’ information: how many years your lease has remaining, and a comprehensive guide to the process of extending your lease. (There is a £10 fee for this service).
